Principal
Don Lawson formed Lawson Group Architects in 1983. Since inception LGA has completed nearly 1700 projects with a construction value exceeding 13 billion dollars. These projects include senior housing projects, medical facilities, multi-family developments, residential communities, university/institutional facilities, research and development centers, corporate offices, mixed-use developments, and high-rise residential projects. For the past 9 years, LGA has been recognized by Architectural Record as one of the Top Design Firms in the United States. In 1985 Mr. Lawson formed Medallion Holdings, a real estate development and management company. Medallion Holdings has developed, owned, and managed residential, office, retail, commercial, multi-family properties, and senior housing communities. Mr. Lawson has extensive experience in complex real estate development and transactions, project design and construction, project capitalization strategies, and property management. He regularly consults on site analysis and acquisition, real estate development, capital structuring, and financial performance of real estate assets.

Fernando Ramirez has more than 20 years of diversified experience in every phase of design and construction. Mr. Ramirez is responsible for the coordination of all aspects of the AE Team, including concept, site utilization, design, construction-related activities, and occupancy. He is a recognized expert in all phases of architecture and construction and regularly consults on design and construction-related issues. Having experience on projects with a construction value exceeding $750 million dollars, Mr. Ramirez’s insight into project development allows him to implement strategic initiatives to maximize the architectural character and development potential of a project. Mr. Ramirez directs in-house and third-party teams and is responsible for oversight of construction activity. Clients rely upon him as an invaluable resource in the design and development of their projects.

Senior Project Manager
Scott Wilk has more than 30 years of diversified experience in the architectural execution of a broad spectrum of significant projects and is responsible for scope definition, resource allocation, schedules, project controls, permitting, project administration, and construction. He also has a thorough knowledge of building codes, accessibility guidelines, accepted industry practices, and governmental compliance. He has developed rigorous procedures and systems for quality assurance and adherence to architectural standards. Mr. Wilk directs in-house and third party teams, and is responsible for construction oversight. With experience on projects having a construction value exceeding $550 million dollars Mr. Wilk monitors the progress of projects and oversees external consultants during the design and construction phase of developments.
